i’m still drawing! sometimes! just not being good at posting it! i made this comic a few months ago thinking about the nature of positive reassurance when someone’s going through it, and how/when it can be helpful. what do you say to someone who’s still so deep in the tunnel they can’t even imagine the light at the end? i know when i was going through shit i didn’t wanna hear about some stupid fucking light because to me it just could not possibly exist. but it does. the tunnel is just stupid long. and it sucks! (i’m fine now ftr.)

Image 5: The star looks solemn and says, "Hey, I didn't say it wouldn't ('wouldn't' is in bold) suck. It sucks like hell, and that's part of it. With time, it will suck less. I promise." The person's speech bubble comes from below the star. They say, "What if it doesn't stop sucking?"
Image 6: The star says, "Take matters into your own hands! Maybe seek help! I'm a ball of gas, not a medical professional. I can only tell you that time tends to make things softer. Even pain."

Image 8: The star is smiling again and says, "You don't have to feel better right now. But you will. Trust me. I'm an old-ass star." The person steps onto their skateboard and replies, "ok, I guess."
